I've refactored a WordPress plugin that I use and love, Quotes Collection. The problem is the mandatory CSS and JS file loadings, which are on every page, and not insignificant. So far, and this is an initial release, I've removed all the CSS calls and the only JS is one that is called in the Admin interface to confirm the deletion of a quote. Otherwise everything works as normal (except the auto-reload function).
The future versions of this will make the plugin more minimal and streamlined, as well as things like checking for the existence of enabled Quotes Collection plugin (get an error if so), and allowing an option of not deleting all data when removing the plugin from a site.
